Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) assist Fire and Police organizations in disaster situations where the uniformed fire, rescue, and medical services are overwhelmed.
NOTE: CERT DOES NOT DEPLOY OUTSIDE THE COMMUNITY UNLESS DIRECTED BY HCFR, HCSO OR ESF-15.

Action Plan: After the event , CERT members take care of themselves and family, assist neighbors, then proceed to rally point to complete a damage assessment report.
Incident Commander will coordinate with other SCC volunteer groups, assign teams for search and rescue (light), Fire suppression (small), Field triage & medical treatment, Transportation to South Bay [with EMS, Patrol, Samaritans, DAV], provide manpower for POD # 16
MOUs: SCC Patrol (conference room), SCC Patrol/KP Security (Silver Alert), KPARC (W4KPR); DAV (Van )
Organization: Not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation.
Meetings: 4th Wednesday of month—6:30pm, Florida Room, Atrium Building
Drills: Annual County, State, local SCC
Training Class: Twice per year (as scheduled)
