The Kings’ Point and SCC Amateur Radio Clubs are able to relay important information and “health & welfare” messages via radio after the needs of the on-site emergency first-responders needs are met.

Emergency Status info for relatives (updated by amateur radio during emergencies only)

Health and welfare messages:  Residents can send a short “I’m ok” or other welfare message at the Radio club at Old Town Hall. Out-of-town relatives and friends can send health and welfare inquiries to SCC by sending an email with information about the person, location, phone number that you wish information about. Include your name, address, phone number, email address. Amateurs will acknowledge your inquiry and forward it via radio to Sun City Center.
